Welcome to our Sunday morning service.

We'll begin with a song of praise expressing our confidence in God through Jesus.

Before the throne

Let's pray:

Father God we thank you for your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, for his life on earth, for his death and resurrection.

• We thank you that he is alive today and that we can trust him in this time.
• We thank you that he promised to always be with us through the Holy Spirit whether we are going through good times or whether we are struggling.
• We pray for all who are affected by coronavirus, through illness or isolation or anxiety, that they may find relief and recovery.
• We also pray for those who are guiding our nation at this time, and shaping national policies, that they may make wise decisions.
• We pray for doctors, nurses and medical researchers, that through their skill and insights many will be restored to health.
• We also pray for the vulnerable and the fearful, for the gravely ill and the dying, that they may know your comfort and peace.
• We pray for ourselves that you would speak to us through your word, the Bible, and that we would have listening ears.

We pray these things in and through the name of Jesus.
