Puff puff is a popular west African snack/streetfood. It is very easy to make and it has different variations. It is popular in homes during celebrations like weddings and festive holidays like Christmas. 

Recipe

3 1/4 cups of flour
2 cups of warm water
2 1/4 teaspoons of active dry yeast
1/4 cup of sugar (as preferred)
1/2 tbsp of salt
Oil for deep frying
Nutmeg(optional)
Pepper(optional) 

Instructions 

Mix salt, sugar, water, and yeast set aside for 5 minutes

Add flour and mix. Set aside and allow to triple in size
Cup dough in your hand in small circular sizes and drop in hot oil. Fry until both sides are golden brown

Place on napkin or kitchen towel to drain excess oil.

Ps: Nutella can serve as a dipping sauce for puff puff.

Ok, these lovely earrings are not jumpers. But they are SO Christmassy, such a great pair - what with Santa on one and the chimney on the other! - and they're some of Carol's favourite earrings ... so we couldn't resist sharing them.
