Our opening song, There's a Place, looks ahead to a time when there'll be no injustice, far removed from the world we're in at the moment

We have a God who stepped down into the darkness of this world, to suffer and to die. Here we are to worship: Light of the World

Let's pray

We thank you, Lord, for Jesus, Light of the world. We thank you that he chose to step down into the darkness of this world, knowing he would suffer and die. We praise you that Jesus was raised from the dead and ascended into glory, where he now and forever lives to intercede for us.

We commit this time to you, dear Lord, and ourselves in your service.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.
